FRAMESDXGI HOOK

Uncapped FPS

A hook on the game's swap chain holds any FPS limit exactly while the CPU idles, and a frame reaches the screen about 1 ms after the game read your mouse (median at 144 FPS, down from 13.6 ms). The bundled Chromium is patched against the aim freeze (in our stress test stock Chromium stalled for 7.5 s, Kute for at most 30 ms) and the stutter other uncapped clients get when the GPU is the limit.

AUTO-DETECT≈ 1 MIN

Auto-Detect

Plays a private test match and measures what each graphics setting costs on your PC. Only the settings that make a real difference get lowered. A PC that is already fast enough keeps its settings, and a laptop that stutters at full speed gets an FPS limit it holds steadily.

  • Needs an account
INPUTRAW

Raw input

Mouse movement comes straight from the device, without Windows pointer acceleration, and 100 % of it reaches the game, also when you click or scroll mid-flick. Scrolling can jump for easier ramp boosts, and that turns itself off in competitive.

Native input, more accurate than on any other client. Coming from another one, it might take a bit of time to get used to it.

FAQ

My game stutters

Run Auto-Detect Best Settings in the General settings. It plays a private test match, measures what each setting costs on your PC and sets only what makes a real difference (it needs a Krunker account). Leave CPU Throttling at 1 unless Auto-Detect sets it.

I can't aim

Kute uses pure raw input: your mouse's movement goes straight to the game, without Windows pointer acceleration, and none of it gets lost, not even the movement in the same instant as a click or a scroll. No other client passes every bit of it through. It is more accurate, and exactly because of that it can feel different for a few rounds if your aim is used to another client. Give it some time before you change your sensitivity.

Is there a portable version?

Yes, the portable zip. Unpack it anywhere and start kute.exe, nothing gets installed. Settings and scripts still live in Documents\kute, shared with an installed Kute. Small updates apply by themselves. When a new client version is out, Kute asks and opens the download page, then replace the folder with the new zip.

Does it run on Linux?

Yes, as an AppImage for 64-bit Linux (glibc 2.35 or newer: Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 36 and later, Arch). Make it executable and start it, it updates itself and keeps its settings in ~/.config/kute. It runs through X11 (XWayland in a Wayland session) by default, which is much faster than native Wayland for now. Linux applies your desktop's mouse acceleration to the game: for raw input set your mouse to the Flat profile at speed 0. Not on Linux: the OBS plugin (OBS's PipeWire capture records the game), the swapchain hook, the NVIDIA profile and the graphics backend choice.

My FPS is lower, but the client is smoother

Uncapped, other clients count every frame the game computes, including frames that never reach your screen: they pile up behind the GPU and get replaced before they are shown. A big number, but those frames are only extra load and extra input lag. Kute's swap chain hook and patched Chromium let the game run just one frame ahead, so it only computes frames that actually get shown, and the Present FPS Counter shows the frames that reach your screen. A lower number that is real, instead of a higher one that is not.

All features

Nearly all of them are settings in Krunker's settings menu and can be turned off.

Performance

Bundled Chromium

Kute ships its own Chromium (CEF). Nothing else to install.

Patched Chromium

No aim freeze with uncapped FPS, no stutter when the GPU is the limit, and more. Every patch is a switch in the Engine settings.

Uncapped FPS

Removes the refresh rate cap.

Fix Audio Stutters

Optional: keeps the game's 3D sound from eating the audio thread at high FPS.

Laptop setup

Two graphics chips are recognized: Kute picks the fast one and skips the swap chain hook there. Plugged in, it runs on Best performance and puts your power mode back after. On Linux, NVIDIA PRIME offload renders on the NVIDIA chip.

NVIDIA profile

A driver profile for Kute alone lifts a global Max Frame Rate or forced V-Sync. Yours to change.

Exact FPS limit

Held inside Chromium's compositor by our own patch, so the CPU idles between frames. Works with or without the swap chain hook.

Present FPS counter

A second counter for the frames that reach your screen.

Auto-Detect

Tests the client's own setup and the FPS limit on your PC, then the game in a private match, and keeps only what measurably runs better. Checked against how you started, can be undone.

Disable & hide non-performance settings

One switch turns off every cosmetic feature and hides its settings. Switch it back and everything is as you left it.

Graphics backend

D3D11, D3D11on12, OpenGL or Vulkan, plus a color profile setting.

Chromium flags

A tested default set. Add your own in user_flags.json.

URL blocklist

About 50 entries against ads and trackers. Add your own.

Priority and CPU throttle

Process priority, and a CPU throttle for PCs where nothing else helps.

Gameplay

Raw input

Mouse input without acceleration.

Ramp boosting

Scrolling jumps. Off in competitive.

Real Ping

Pings the lobby server and shows your actual latency.

Player list ping

Everyone's ping as a number.

Find Game pings

Every server in Find Game shows your real ping to its region. The old browser layout lists regions fastest first.

Ranked match alert

Tabbed out while you queue ranked? When a match is found, Kute comes to the front or flashes in your taskbar.

Hardpoint enemy counter

How many enemies are on the point in competitive.

Headshot sound

The headshot sound on every kill.

Auto spectate

Joins public matches as a spectator.

Lobbies and ranked

Matchmaker

F6 joins the lowest ping lobby that fits your filters: region, mode, map, players, time left. Star modes and maps to try them first, in your order. Prefers lobbies that will not fill up while you load in, and can search again when a match ends.

Ranked queue

Queue for ranked from a small window without the game open. Turn its match found sound down, or use your own sound file.

Rank progress

Elo progress to the next rank and the rank distribution.

Hotkeys

F4 new lobby, F6 matchmaker, F5 reload, F11 fullscreen, F12 devtools. Rebind or clear any of them, add keys to toggle Spotify and Keystrokes or log in a saved account.

Interface

Better chat

Team and all chat in one view, Tab switches where you send. Chat text can be selected.

Chat logs

The last 2000 chat lines, kept when you switch lobbies. F1 opens them to filter by players, kills, events and server, search and copy. The key is yours to change.

Menu timer

The match timer in the menu.

Classic menu

The Season 9 menu layout, new buttons included.

Cleaner menu

Hides the store ad, live streams, featured maps, the Popular Now row and other promos. The logo and every button stay.

Clan colors

Colored clan tags in the player lists.

HUD editor

Drag, resize and hide every HUD element, snapping to the edges and to each other.

Nuke counter

Your career nuke total in game, with an optional goal. Place it where you want it.

Keystrokes

Your movement keys and mouse in the HUD, lit while you press them, and a ring around the mouse that shows which way you flick. It follows your own keybinds.

Kute icons

Kute's own counter, ammo, hitmarker, reticle and scope icons. Pick the ones you want, your settings stay untouched.

Kute badge

Shows who else in the match runs Kute. The server only sees hashes, never names. One setting turns every online feature off.

Battle pass claim-all

Claims every open reward at once.

Discord Rich Presence

Shows your mode and map on Discord.

Customization

Resource swapper

Replaces game files with your own. The manager shows what the game loads, drop a file onto the one it replaces and it lands in the right place. CSS and other text files can be written and edited right there, and CSS swaps apply instantly.

CSS Manager

Keep as many CSS themes as you like: write them in the client with syntax highlighting and a live preview, paste them or import .css files, and switch between them with one click. They always load after Krunker's styles, so your rules win.

Kute CSS

One switch gives the whole client Kute's look: menus, settings, every window and popup, the social window and the HUD, with a few cats. Colors that mean something, like KR, rarities and health, stay as they are, and your own CSS still wins.

Motion blur

A slight blur while you turn the camera, with adjustable strength. The HUD stays sharp, and nothing runs while you stand still.

Custom sky

Your own sky on every map: starfield, aurora, synthwave and more built in, a color gradient, or any image you drop into the skies folder.

Userscripts

Crankshaft and idkr scripts work as they are. Manage them in the client: turn them on and off live, change their settings, edit them in the built-in editor or drop new ones in, without refreshing the page. Example scripts come along, off by default: Class Roulette draws a random class on every respawn, Quick Sell by Rarity clears one rarity from your inventory after a preview and a confirmation.

Mods

Krunker mods load right in the game window. Mod, lobby and invite links never open a second game that would end your match.

Mod download

A download button on every mod in Krunker's Mods window. One click saves the mod's zip to your Downloads folder.

Krunker settings import

Pick which parts to import: keybinds, sensitivity, sound.

Client

Account manager

Saved accounts, encrypted by Windows. Passwords never reach the page. Drag them into your order, Ctrl+Alt+1, 2 and 3 log in the first three.

Kute Market

A clear market overview, tabbed discovery by budget and activity, watchlists with price targets, inventory insights, and side-by-side trade comparisons, in a window you can resize and zoom.

End message per account

Krunker's match end message is kept per account, so your alt never sends your main's message.

Settings transfer

Export Kute's settings, HUD positions, matchmaker filters and hotkeys to one file, import it on another PC.

Diagnostics report

Hardware, drivers, settings, recent errors and crash logs in one file for a bug report. You see all of it first, nothing is uploaded.

Safe mode & crash finder

Crashed twice in a row? Start without your scripts, swaps and tweaks, or let Kute find which one causes it. Hold Shift at start for safe mode.

OBS capture

An OBS source that takes the frames straight from the game, plus a separate audio window.

Medal.tv

Officially supported by Medal.tv, so clipping your plays just works.

Auto-updater

Updates the client, and script fixes arrive without a reinstall. Shows a changelog.
